Established in 1989 in memory of Dr Brian G Davey, a senior lecturer in soil science in the former Faculty of Agriculture and Environment, this scholarship is awarded to the most proficient student undertaking an honours program in soil science or specialising in soil science.
You must:
- have an unconditional offer of admission in Honours (i.e., appended, or embedded) studying soil science and enrolled in one of the following Honours degrees within the School of Life & Environmental Sciences at the University of Sydney.
- Bachelor of Environmental Systems (Honours) in soil science
- Bachelor of Science (Honours) in soil science, or
- Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Agriculture) with a major in Soil Science and Hydrology.
