The Rural Veterinary Students Scholarship was made possible by the generous support of Dr Bill and Ms Jenny Riches, as well as several other members of the Veterinary Science alumni.If you are from a rural or regional area, commencing a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (or accelerated pathway via the third year of the Bachelor of Science [Veterinary Bioscience specialisation]), this scholarship could assist you financially with study and living expenses.
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- be an Australian citizen, Permanent Resident or the holder of a Permanent Humanitarian visa
- be enrolled to commence study in a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM1) or in the Veterinary Bioscience specialisation in the third year of the Bachelor of Science
- meet the rural student criteria
